"If you're afraid of the future, then get out of the way, stand aside. The people of this country are ready to move again." These words were said by a man Democrats rarely quote endearingly – Ronald Reagan – but encompass the choice Americans have in the upcoming election. There are immense differences between Senators Barack Obama and John McCain, but it comes down to one point: whether we want to continue the failed policies of the past eight years or to take the country in a new direction. Senator McCain might differ from the Bush Administration on the Environment and Immigration, for which we are thankful, but there is no daylight between their foreign policies or economic packages. GW Republicans for Obama represents a segment of Republicans who realize that the country is on the wrong track, and that Senator Obama can restore credibility to the American brand, and bring about the change needed in Washington. Any Republican who wants to see an unnecessary war come to an end, a strong economy emerge, an end to divisive politics, and an America that reflects its citizens' nobler aspirations, is encouraged to join this group. If we work together, we can once again awake to a brighter morning in America.
