Congressman Deutch (FL-21) in the House Democratic Caucus is seeking a legislative intern with outstanding writing and interpersonal skills for his Capitol Hill office. While this position is unpaid, there is the possibility of a paid internship opening in the future. The ideal candidate will approach all tasks with enthusiasm, whether it be writing a floor speech, conducting research, responding to a constituent, or sorting through a pile of mail.
The Office is committed to providing interns with meaningful experience. Most staffers started out as interns and know how hard it is to find a job in Congress. If you do excellent work, they are more than willing to vouch for you when applying to jobs in other offices or paid opportunities in Congressman Deutch’s own office.
