Are you a proud Democrat? Are you interested in helping lead the largest and most active chapter of the College Democrats in the country? If so, throw your hat in the ring for this year’s executive board election!
The seven elected positions on the executive board are: President, Vice President, Political Affairs Director, Finance Director, Membership Director, Communications Director, and Community Service Director. The remaining positions are filled by appointment once the 2015-2016 executive board is elected.
All candidacy statements will be due by 11:59 PM on Friday, March 27th. Candidates may begin campaigning upon receiving confirmation on Sunday, March 29th. Candidacy statements should be no longer than 300 words and must be emailed to [email protected] before the deadline. The election will be held on Wednesday, April 8th.
Only dues-paying members may vote in the election. The last day to pay dues is Wednesday, April 1st. Dues must be paid at office hours, which are posted HERE. (Note: if you receive our emails, you can vote).
Keep in mind that no slating is allowed and that you may not campaign at official College Dems events or use College Dems property to campaign.
