Be a Fellow with America’s Teachers PAC!

America’s Teachers PAC is a network of teachers, parents, and students who are on the forefront of the effort to elect Hillary Clinton as the 45th President of the United States. Through advocacy in the trenches, the America’s Teachers Fellowship trains the next generation of activists and change makers in education policy. Fellows emerge from the 12-week program with skills in bringing together stakeholders to fight for a common cause: electing Hillary Clinton to ensure better education for all of America’s children.

Fellows will spend the first half of their fellowship developing and mastering the skills that are essential to effective organizing—volunteer recruitment and management, event planning, and digital organizing. The second half of the fellowship offers the opportunity to dig deeper on a specific skill.

Fellows will be integrated into the PAC and well-supported by its leadership. Each fellow will be responsible for specific workstreams. Fellows will graduate from the fellowship understanding how to take real action on issues important to them. They will develop deeper insight into the nuts and bolts of advocacy through their efforts for the 2016 presidential election.

America’s Teachers fellowships are unpaid, volunteer programs. Operations are primarily based in Washington, DC with team members also in New York City. Fellows who live outside DC metro will work with our staff remotely. The time commitment will be 10-15 hours per week for 12 weeks.
