Jamie Raskin for Congress Internship

State Senator Jamie Raskin currently represents District 20 (Silver Spring & Takoma Park) in the Maryland State Senate, where he has served for almost 10 years. Jamie is a professor of Constitutional Law at AU’s Washington College of Law, and has a record of effective progressive leadership in the State Senate, where he serves as the Democratic Whip and has helped pass over 100 bills into law. Jamie is running for Congress in Maryland’s 8th Congressional district now that Congressman Van Hollen has decided to vacate his seat to make a run for the U.S. Senate. Senator Raskin is running on a strong record in Maryland, and he wants to represent Maryland’s 8th in Congress to continue leadership on issues like environmental protections, a strong middle-class economy, and much-needed election reform. Kathleen Matthews for Congress Internship

Kathleen Matthews for Congress (MD-08) is now accepting applications for our Fall 2015 Internship Program. Their interns get hands-on campaign experience on one of the most exciting congressional races in the country. Interns will play an important role in their field, fundraising, political, communications, and digital outreach. They ask interns to commit at least 10 hours/ week. Their internship program is open to high school and college students as well a recent graduates. You must have reliable transportation to their office in downtown Bethesda. They are a short walk from the Bethesda metro station. Qualifications: No previous campaign experience is required.
