The GW Community is invited to attend the Democratic social-political fundraising event of the semester! This high-school prom-themed dance, entitled "Oproma," is an opportunity to celebrate our history-making candidate while making a contribution that will fund 3 out-of-state campaign trips for Barack!

18 and up to party, 21 and up to drink.

Tickets are $20 in-advance with a $5 discount for those attending the AIDS Walk with the College Dems on the same day.

The First General Meeting of the GW College Democrats will take place on September 9 at 7:30pm in the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Marvin Center. Meet your Executive Board and pay your $10 dues, which also includes our brand-new T-Shirt. Come join the GW College Democrats for our first team walk of the year. AIDS Walk Washington is an annual event dedicated to finding a cure and fighting the spread of AIDS. So come join the College Dems for a brisk 5k walk and a rewarding Saturday morning of helping out our local community.

The walk officially begins at 9 am so we plan on meeting at the Foggy Bottom Metro around 8 am.
