Get Covered America is a project of Enroll America, and is a non-partisan organization dedicated to maximizing the number of uninsured Americans who enroll in health coverage made available by the Affordable Care Act. Get Covered America will work at the national, state, and local levels to make this happen.
Fellows will work with staff, volunteers, and partners to help connect the uninsured to affordable, quality health coverage. Fellows will communicate with consumers about their new health coverage options, recruit and train volunteers on how to communicate with consumers about their new health coverage options, and collaborate with partners to conduct outreach and in-reach. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are strong communicators, and passionate about expanding access to health coverage.
This is an unpaid position. Fellows may receive college credit and all Fellows will receive extensive training and professional development opportunities. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, and dedicated to Get Covered America’s mission.
