Civis Analytics is a community of statisticians, data scientists,
organizers, and engineers, working in a fast-paced environment to provide
data-driven solutions to our clients. Although we are best known for our
work at the 2012 Obama campaign[1], the DSCC[2], and our CTO’s efforts
to rescue healthcare.gov[3], we work with a wide variety of political
campaigns, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and private
corporations. We are looking for individuals from a diverse range of
backgrounds with demonstrated quantitative and problem-solving skills.
*Election Fellows and Interns*
Work with our Political team in DC on our suite of polling,
modeling and strategic services for our political clients. Our Election
Fellows program is designed for students who have between 20-40 hours to
contribute a week and will receive a stipend for their work. The
intern program is designed for students who have between 10-20 hours
to contribute a week. Upperclassmen and graduate students only.
Offered in Washington, DC.
*Minimum Qualifications*
· Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience with SQL and/or statistical packages (R, STATA, Python, etc)
· Naturally default to ‘data’ when thinking through challenges and
their solutions and can demonstrate this ability through experience
