Mark Sickles for Congress is seeking Field and Finance Interns for the most competitive Congressional primary in Virginia. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent graduates to learn or increase valuable campaign skills on a high-profile open seat race.
Mark Sickles is currently the Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. He represents the Franconia and Alexandria parts of Fairfax County. Virginia’s 8th Congressional District includes Arlington County, the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, and Eastern Fairfax.
Interns will work in a fast-paced environment and duties will include:
Finance:
-Assist with donor research
-Database management
-Event planning and staffing
Field:
-Volunteer recruitment and team building
-Volunteer training
-Voter contact
-Event planning and staffing
-Data Entry
Ideally interns will be able to commit at least 10 hours to 20 hours per week. This internship is unpaid, but we are happy to work with you and your school to secure academic credit. We are looking for interns to start immediately.
