Attend Voices for Choices Events!

Voices for Choices is having a Week of Action this upcoming week. The purpose of the week is to raise awareness of reproductive rights issues and increase pro-choice activism on GW’s campus. The events we’re having are:

Tuesday Nov. 12: Phone bank with Planned Parenthood in Marvin G08 from 7-10. We’ll be calling voters in Albuquerque regarding the city-wide 20-week abortion ban ballot initiative. All you need to do is bring your phone and computer and we’ll explain the rest. Check out our Facebook event!

Wednesday Nov. 13: Candy & Condoms event in Kogan from 12-3:30 where we’ll be handing out FREE condoms, candy, palm cards, stickers, buttons, and maybe some other goodies! If you have any free time during the day to help us table, sign up here so we know to expect you!

Thursday Nov. 14: A screening of the documentary 12th & Delaware in the Marvin Center Amphitheater at 7. This is a powerful documentary that brings to light the harsh realities of crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) and abortion clinics. More details about the film can be found on our Facebook event page.

Friday Nov. 15In conjunction with Programming Board’s “Controversy Week,” we will be having an all-day social media campaign using the hashtag #VFCWeekofAction. This will include tweeting and posting statistics, graphics, and articles relating to pro-choice issues in America today. Make sure to like our Facebook page and follow us on twitter!
