Why Join GW Dems?
Taking advantage of our unique position in the heart of the nation’s capital, the George Washington College Democrats are the largest chapter of College Dems in the country, and boast the largest membership of any GW student org. Representing the official student-outreach arm of the Democratic Party, the CDs pack buses each year with student activists and send them off to volunteer in campaigns across the country. Additionally, throughout the semester, we bring various members of the US Senate, House of Representatives, and world of politics to speak to our membership. And if we’re not off-campus campaigning, we’re busy advocating for progressive causes both at GW and on the Hill.
