Peter made his political debut serving food at his parents 1992 election night party: amid the roar of 100 raging New York liberals, he found his inspiration. Since then, his political activity has included: hosting Paint New York Blue, Democracy for America, and Howard Dean fundraising parties in his home, and in 2004, canvassing in Florida for the John Kerry campaign and MoveOn.org. Marci is in her second year at GW, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. Her political affiliation has been obvious since the age of 4, when the donkey was her favorite animal at the petting zoo. Since then, her Democratic convictions have been strengthened even more through experiences like working at the ACLU and as a tutor for the DC Public Schools. Marci is also a member of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, and enjoys playing the violin, coloring, and promoting peace for all people. That is, unless you make fun of Cleveland or Ohio State sports teams- in which case she will introduce you to her other hobby: kickboxing. Marci is so excited to be part of the Membership Committee (aka Fun Squad!) this year!
