Administration 2007-2008
Tanya Choudhury

President: Tanya Choudhury (CCAS, 2009)

Sophomore Tanya Choudhury serves as the Events Director, organizing and directing all major and minor on-campus events for the GW College Democrats. Growing up in Texas, she was very interested in politics from an early age. Poignantly, she often stood out as the lone donkey in a sea of elephants. It was that love of politics and a desire to be in a more liberal community that brought her to GW. In the 2005-2006 school year, Tanya served as the freshmen representative for the Class of 2009, and Events Director in 2006-2007. E-mail: [email protected]

Kate Maude Secretary: Kate Maude (CCAS, 2010)
Kate Maude is a sophomore majoring in Environmental Studies and Psychology and is excited to be serving as the Secretary for the College Democrats! Raised in Wheaton, Illinois, Kate is glad to finally be in the majority party and to have the opportunity to work with some fantastic Democratic campaigns and organizations here in DC. In addition to the College Dems, Kate works for RAINN and is (becoming) a member of the community service fraternity APO . As her majors suggest, she enjoys being outside and learning about the world around her as well as listening to music, hugging trees, going to museums, taking road trips, and watching The West Wing. Kate is pumped for a fantastic year with the College Democrats!
